About Rebecca Silkey

My mother was known as Becky.Although she wasn't very close to my sister & I as we would've liked her to be in our childhood years,she worked very hard doing very exhausting work to pay the bills.Although we were working on our relationship the later part of our years together,she passed far too early.Although she could have quite a temper,she had a great smile,laugh & sense of humor.She is truly missed.

Rebecca Silkey's Legacy

Becky had an interest in jewelry making,gardening,spiritualism,and many other things.She had many animals (as many would remember),dogs,cats,birds,fish,hamsters,mice,rats,guinea pigs,pigs,chickens,a pigeon,a raccoon,ferrets,etc & would bring home many wounded animals from the local veterinarian's office she worked for to heal & raise. She was a beautiful woman,& was unfortunately struck by a few serious illnesses such as Chrohn's disease,which made day to day life very difficult to enjoy,although she did the best she could to enjoy her time here.
