About Kevin Canter

Kevin Michael Canter passed away on January 19, 20ll at the age of 32.
Kevin was born in Susanville, California on April 14, 1978 and moved to Reno in 1982. He attended Peavine and Mamie Towles Elementary, Clayton Middle, and McQueen High School. He graduated from Rancho Bernardo High School, San Diego, in 1996. He continued his Education at UC Davis in California where he met Annie Insana, who became his wife. They were married on July 15, 2006 in San Diego. They moved to Champaign, Illinois in 2010 where Annie is pursuing her Doctorate Degree in Education. Kevin was employed by Prime,Inc.Trucking Co.
Kevin is survived by his wife, Annie Insana Canter and their beloved dogs, Maple and Rufus (Champaign,IL), Mother Carol and husband Jack (Reno,NV), brother Tom and wife Amanda and newborn daughter, Daphne Grace Canter (Colorado Springs, CO), and sister Elyse Pearman (Eugene,OR). Also numerous Uncles, Aunts, Cousins, Nieces and Nephew and many friends.
A Celebration of Kevin's Life will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, Kevin would have requested donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
Kevin's compassion for others, his kind and gentle spirit and dedication to family and friends, will continue to inspire the lives of those he touched.

Dear annie,

sorry it's taken so long to respond. Quite honestly i had no idea to tell you how sad and shocked of kevin's passing. I loved him,and still do, very much. The fact that we had an amazing conversation 2 weeks prior just, well, freaked me out considering how much i anticipating on seeing him. I truly hope you and his family, and your family are well and i will always hold kevin in my heart. I miss him dearly. Be strong and stay well,
