- I put on your hood today. You had left an old pack of crackers in the pocket. It made me laugh. I felt in the other pocket and sure enough you had kleenex in it!! i miss you.

- Always, always and forever
always, always and forever
i'm sitting here, i'm thinking back
to a time when i was young
my memory is clear as day
i'm listening to the dishes clink
you were downstairs, you would sing
songs of praise
and all the times we laughed with you
and all the times that you stayed true to us
now we'll say
i said i thank you, i'll always thank you
more than you would know, than i could ever show
and i love you, i'll always love you
there's nothing i won't do, to say these words to you
that you're beautiful forever
always, always and forever
you were my mom, you were my dad
the only thing i ever had was you, it's true
and even when the times got hard
you were there to let us know that we'd get through you showed me how to be a man
you taught me how to understand the things people do
you showed me how to love my god
you taught me that not everyone knows the truth
and i thank you, i'll always thank you
more than you will know, than i could ever show
and i love you, i'll always love you
there's nothing i won't do, to say these words to you
that you will live forever
forever and ever
forever and ever
said i thank you, we'll always thank you
more than you will know, than i could ever show
and i love you, we'll always love you
there's nothing i won't do, to say these words to you
i thank you, we'll always thank you
more than you would know, than i could ever show
and i love you, we'll always love you
there's nothing i won't do, to say these words to you
that you will live forever

- Coffee cups on the counter, jackets on the chair
papers on the doorstep, you're not there
everything is everything
everything is everything
but you're missing
pictures on the nightstand, tv's on in the den
your house is waiting, your house is waiting
for you to walk in, for you to walk in
but you're missing, you're missing
you're missing
when i shut out the lights
you're missing
when i close my eyes
you're missing
when i see the sun rise
you're missing

- If roses grow in heaven lord, please pick a bunch for me. Place them in my mother's arms and tell her they're from me. Tell her i love and miss her, place a kiss upon her cheek, so that maybe she will smile. Let her know remembering her is easy, i do it everyday. But there is an ache within my heart that will never go away.
