About Catherine Marucci

Catherine Ellen Marucci, from York, Pennsylvania , born Friday June 1 1962, sadly passed away Tuesday June 5 2012. A long time artist and poet, she brought light to so many lives. ever the adventurous one, she enjoyed nature and the outdoors and spent many a day hiking and exploring with her dog, Mister Green. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Aaron.

She is much loved and will be missed dearly by all her friends and family.

Catherine Marucci's Legacy

There was this day when we had a wonderful outing. We had gone for a picnic in the park and had run across so many people. Catherine seemed to know everyone. And of course her loyal dog, Mister Green, came along for the merriment. I don't think I ever saw him leave her side without a fight. Anyway, as it happened we ended the evening by going to see this performing artist, I can't remember his name any more, but he came up with a poem right on the spot that was so inspiring that when I took a glance across the table I think I saw Catherine shed a tear. She truly was one of the most beautiful people I have ever known (and with her amazing memory she would have remembered the artists name, something my own porous cranium cannot).
