- Joe was a safe harbor and friend when i needed one. I felt that i could be there without any explanation or expectation. He was a caring man and beautiful in his emotional honesty. If jesus said, "come as you are" joe said, "all right". He cared more about caring and doing the right thing, than about what might happen to himself or what others might think. He was a brave soul. Thank you, joe for all that you gave to the world and what you gave to me. I also want to thank you for bobcat, who went long before you but for whom you kept a candle burning.
