Life is but a stopping place,
A pause in what's to be,
A resting place along the road,
to sweet eternity.
We all have different journeys,
Different paths along the way,
We all were meant to learn some things,
but never meant to stay...
Our destination is a place,
Far greater than we know.
For some the journey's quicker,
For some the journey's slow.
And when the journey finally ends,
We'll claim a great reward,
And find an everlasting peace,
Together with the lord

- Dad. About a year ago i was on a harley ride to locke, and got into a situation where i felt unsafe. I had made up my mind to walk to your place and ask you for help. In the end i made the decision to remain with the person i had come out with, and had to pass your place. At the very moment that we were riding by, you emerged heading for your truck. Did you see me that day dad? i saw you, and i thought about jumping off the bike. Instead i just cried and looked back until you were no longer in my sight. That's the last time i saw you. For the last several days, that's the image i see when i close my eyes. I never got to tell you goodbye.
